Red, White, and Blueberry Tacos

For the Fourth of July, I went home to Oregon and the 160 acre grass ranch I grew up on.  My dad had been talking for weeks about the grilled lamb tacos he was going to make for our big feast.  I had to think of something to add to the dish.  I did.  Blueberry-Basil Relish and Lime-Mint Sour Cream!  I had never made either before, but when the ideas came to me, I had a feeling that they would taste good.  They did.  Blueberries and Basil combined makes for a sweet and mature taste, as does Lime and Mint.  There’s something exotic and sophisticated about mixing fruits and herbs.  Our tacos were served with a side of Habanero Bacon Baked Beans and for dessert we had my mom’s chocolate bundt cake!
