Be Bad, End up at Dog Haus.

I was actually on really good behavior and still ended up at Dog Haus yesterday!

The truth is, I was invited to the well-known Pasadena establishment to welcome the launch of their new collaboration with Sausage Master/Food Show Host/Funny Man, Adam Gertler.  Gertler has exclusively given Dog Haus the restaurant rights to his brand of gourmet sausages: Gertler’s Wurst.  Not only has the establishment announced their plans for becoming a National Franchise, they will now be offering Gertler’s exciting sausage creations on their menu along with their original dogs and burgers.

Gertler is best recognized for his “Reuben Dog” (pastrami sausage, white American cheese, haus slaw, haus sauce) which I sampled last summer and lost my head over…it seriously affected me (read about it here).  This one will definitely be on the menu along with these guys:

The Abe Froman:  Garlic kielbasa, white American cheese, fried egg, sauteed jalepenos

Herban Legend:  Garlic herb kielbasa, baconkraut, whole grain mustard aioli, crushed fritos

One Night in Bangkok: Spicy red Thai currywurst, Thai slaw, peanut sauce.

Uber Kase: Cheddar-stuffed smoky sausage, bing cherry mostarda, arugula, crispy onions, pickled sweet peppers

All of these were created by Gertler specifically for Dog Haus!  Lucky bastards and lucky me, because I got to sample them yesterday!

This is big news for everyone involved, and please know that this menu is Food Pervert approved.  I wish this delicious union great success!

Until we eat again…
